They won't give Arkansas the win but they should acknowledge that a mistake was made by the field officials they could not be corrected by the replay officials. Once the field officials blew the play dead, the Hogs were screwed even though it was actually a live ball aka a backward pass is a live ball.

Not really. The facts are there on video and in the rule book. When the crew gets suspended for this it will verify it. Arkansas earned a W and it was stripped on a bad call. That isn't hypothetical. It's the fact of the matter.

We still need to stop fricking ourselves on special teams. If we correct that, we aren't even talking about the incorrect call by the refs.

I didn't make the call, I didn't call the play nor did I take a snap in that game. I think it's funny as hell. I kind of felt bad for you guys Saturday night, but you ruined that.

Only one official should be suspended and that’s the official that got tunnel vision and thought he would see a cleanly spiked ball. He saved face by calling intentional grounding.

They both involve a blown call on the field and a failure by the replay officials to correct it.
ETA: the SC QB never really had possession. If he had been a WR that would have been ruled an incompletion.
