They opened with a loss to Georgia St. last year and struggled to a one point win over Indiana in their bowl game.

What on earth have they done to deserve a top 15 ranking?

What has Clemson done to deserve a #1 ranking this season?

That would be September 24, 2016, when they beat Florida by 10 points in Knoxville.

Funny enough, Florida actually won the East that year.

If it weren't for some broken plays and pure luck against OSU, you could ask the same for Clemson

They have done about as much to earn a top 15 ranking as Miami has done to earn a top 10.

Destroyed out the gate by a seasoned Gamecock poster- you love to see it.

I'm agreeing with the Clemson fan here. I think Pruitt has beaten one ranked team in his time at Tennessee, a trash Auburn squad. The Vols are in for a very rude awakening come Saturday.

I'd say 2018 vs. Auburn, but after last week I'm not sure you could claim we have a pulse.

they showed this recently... it's been like 10-12 years since theyve beaten a top 10 team.

You guys think WGAF? All that matters right now is the arse-whooping these wiggle dicker Jawja poors have coming their way on Saturday. It’s going to be cot damn glorious when they finally realize they have Richt 2.0 and Pruitt challenges him to fisticuffs post-game at midfield just to punk Kirb’s moarrrrr.

They beat Auburn and Kentucky in 2018. Got hot at the end of 2019. Haven’t lost since. It’s not that wild to have them in the top 15. It’s Tennessee. Not Kansas.

Auburn two years ago is the one that leaps to my mind. Other than that? I got nothing.

Was going to say not us last week. But apparently that win was enough to catapult them into the rankings.

I mean we can't control who we play.

Sound familiar?

I hope UT does whoop that Dawg arse. The East should be a UT / UF thing.

UGA belongs as a mid tier team, just like their accomplishments have proven. The only reason they have been the talk of the town lately is due to recruiting, and haven't done shite with that talent.
