Looked good from clips I've seen, but needs to get higher passing numbers if he wants to be in the Heisman race.

He will have a field day against LSU.

He only played into early third quarter then that was it for the day. Had a solid day good decisions and threw the ball very accurately.

A lot of people think he looked like AJ Mc Carron out there, if he's that good we are in great shape.

He was better than I expected. Of course having Waddle, another 1st RD WR and facing no pass rush helps, but he was extremely accurate with the ball and looked exactly like a veteran QB should.

Bama can win a NC with him for sure

Yeah having two first rounders helps, but Tua had 4 his last year.

vs Mizzouri.

Who cares?

Last time I saw him he was throwing two pick sixes in the Iron Bowl.

Are you sure it's not L1U's QB? I was told he was going to wreck the conference.

Trevor Lawrence

Mac is 9th overall and behind both Trask and Corral in the SEC

Sabans style of offense leads to good QB ratings because he has great receivers and they take a lot of short quick throws that are safe.

Compare it to say Leach throwing 60 passes many of which were way downfield. Puts up large numbers but QB rating will be lower because they’re riskier throws so you usually get a higher percentage incomplete

Matt Corral quietly coming in 3rd in SEC behind Trask. That was with a ton of pressure too. Everyone dogging Florida's defense but I guarantee they are better that Missouri and LSU D.

And if you go by passer rating he is #1 in SEC. Pretty solid.

according to ESPN the o.p is correct

Jones at #1

after reviewing both I think the difference is yours is passer rating and the op may be total qb rating

Love Mac. Cool as a cucumber, stays in the pocket, doesn't get happy feet. And he can take a shot, Mac is tougher than a Waffle House steak.

Total QBR and QB Rating are 2 separate stats.

I tried telling y’all that the Big Mac Attack was going to wreck everybody’s shite in the SEC.

He’s going to do very well this year

Yes, but even Grayson McCall has played tougher competition than Trevor.
