Did you type this with a straight face?

The guy was absolutely going to start.

Think the lawsuit and the way the family acted is why he was denied.

The better comparison is Eli Wolf being granted eligibility. Same schools, brothers, etc.

JT set out a year with injury, and Wolf was a grad transfer.

We generally don't contest transfers in conference, we have other players who transferred to UT and UF.

Mays is just reaping what he sewed in this situation.

UT would be equally pissed if some entitled kid up and left because his dad didn't know how to use a folding chair and sued y'all before leaving to a rival.

Per your UT back channels he didn’t file the lawsuit until after Cade decided to transfer. So all that is bullshite. Just like the lawsuit.

Everyone knows this is disingenuous. The Mays family probably regretted that the kid did not go to UT, and that was cemented when UGA did not offer the brother. This "hostile situation" is a very thinly veiled front for mere regret.

They should have just said the kid wants to play with his brother.

But, they didn't.

And now Cade will never play in a Vols uniform.

1998 is also ancient so it's a weak comeback...

Why should JT Daniels be able to?

Because USC isn't playing football this fall.

This would work if he didn't transfer before USCs fate was decided. He transferred because Slovis surpassed him.
Missing last year is possible but it shouldn't be. He was injured and took a redshirt. It happens. Not enough to justify a waiver.
Yet another example of why the NCAA needs to be done away with in regards to the power 5. Their waiver policy has no rhyme or reason at all

I know he transferred well before then, but he can say that had he stayed at USC, he wouldn't be able to play.

Slovis is a better fit for the Mike Leach style quick passing game than Daniels.

He'll play on Sundays @ guard, and he's versatile enough to be a + player at any position on the line. Definitely unfortunate for UT.

Maybe we should have offered the brother. Apparently there are 2 more behind him who could be better than Cade.
