fumble.

SEC ref's?

funny how a replay system was brought in to help with on field officiating but the officials use it to manipulate their play calling.

bunch of crooks in sports betting, yes.

, Arkansas got screwed again later in the same game with another fumble/not fumble call

I don't know what year it was but nothing tops the game where Arkansas got screwed over and over gain at Florida. This was the game that finally made me accept that some SEC games are not honest and are controlled by the refs.

how about that sweet spot on the 4th down pass to the TE in the 3rd qtr just before the Hogs scored.

Childs was far and away the best receiving talent in the SEC that year and best in Arkansas history.

He was certainly up there and underrated, imo. Julio Jones, Alshon Jeffrey and AJ Green received all the attention that year, but Childs only played in 8 games due to the injury.

Hogs torched our defense that day. Neither team could stop each other.

Tyler Wilson was at one point 17-19 for 290 yds and 4 TDs.

I had also forgotten how good a player Joe Adams was.

Jarius Wright ended up having the best NFL career out of them all. I’m not sure we’ll ever have a group of wide receivers like that all from the state of Arkansas at the same time ever again. We had three of them get drafted from the same high school in tiny Warren, AR

I couldn’t imagine playing small school Arkansas HS ball and going up against three future NFL guys at the same position (technically Gragg played TE here but think he was a WR in HS).

Exactly. Anyone want to talk about the 2 4th downs that Arkansas didn’t make that the refs gave them? Auburn should’ve won by more.

Fumble. Definitely not a touchdown and I’ve got no dog in this fight.

Classic Gary. “HELMET RIGHT ON THE FOOTBALL. THATS WHAT CAUSED IT” as he’s watching the replay where he clearly still has the ball after the helmet hit.

The next guy popped it loose

The Auburn kick returner kept torching Arkansas, forget his name. He had one for 99 yards (yes, tackled at the Ark 1) and was getting to the 35 almost every time

Naw, the 2009 Florida game was even worse. Only game I’m aware of when SEC suspended officials for the following week. They had to because it was so bad but officials were just doing what they were told. That game convinced me that SEC front office controlled officials and the front office protected SEC teams with best chance to get BCS, now playoff bids.

Yeah Mallett got hurt on yalls next series but you didn't miss a beat with Wilson. I wonder what Wilson could've done in 2012 with a healthy Knile Davis and Petrino as coach for both years, as it was he got beaten to a pulp

That was an 8/9 win team, I think. It stands to reason we would have won all the close games under Petrino, but that team was not going to live up to it's #10 preseason expectation. We overachieved the previous year.

Nashville played em in the quarterfinals their senior year. It was the same day Arkansas beat LSU in 3OT. Jarius returned the opening kickoff for a TD. They didn't score again. Nashville won 56-7 @ Warren. They also beat Joe Adams CAC team that year. That was the their 3rd straight state title season.

They were looking at 8-4 or 9-3, 10-3 with a bowl win.

No way Petrino goes 0-8 with the 13 team. He gets at least bowl eligibility.

The 14 team, he gets them back to 8-4 or 9-3.

The 15 team, they go 11-1 or 10-2.

The 16 team, 8-4 or 9-4 with a bowl win.

If Petrino never was fired then he would have brought Arkansas back to status of what they were in the 80s.

Sooooooo 76 wins in 9 years? 8.4 win average.

Sooooooo, 1 game better than Nutt ( on average)

So at what point will hog fans realize we are an 8 win team on average and quit acting like we should be winning 10 a year?
