Our last 2 regular season games vs Jawja have been in Athens.

Our last 5 games vs Jawja have been within the state of GA.

5-0.

From reading as much as there is out there, I'd conclude the 2 extra opponents per school has already been determined. That's easy.

No its not easy. What would be easy is just taking the next two teams in the rotation and adding those onto the schedule. But instead, according to reports, they will assign the new teams based on SOS. Why all the extra work, especially when it creates the opportunity for bias to be inserted.

quote:

The difficulty is lining up dates to make it all work. Some games were scheduled prior to Sept 26 and if off/ooc dates don't line up then you can't just "stick them in".

That's going to be the case with inserting any new games. Why can't they just scrap the whole original schedule and start over. You can still play the Iron Bowl at the end of the season. No reason to keep it in November and have Bama and Auburn play another game after the Iron Bowl.

If you build a new schedule from scratch, it actually becomes far easier than building schedules for a normal year. Most years you have teams' OOC games to have to work around. Now you have a very clean SEC-only schedule. Shouldn't be difficult at all.

If Bama is the favorite in the West and already scheduled to play the favorite in the East during the regular season, why risk increasing the odds for a mulligan match or further attrition if not required.

Yes, so let's just have Bama play Vandy or Arkansas all 10 games so we can be sure to have them in Atlanta.

2-0 with the new offense — Soothe your rhoids with 8/10 if that cherry picking tastes the sweetest

Suck on this Fun Fact:
Since 2000 (Sabah’s arrival in SEC) series will be 11-11 (tied) when Orgeron puts that shoe up Sabah’s dwarf @$$ again in Nov., if Septuagenarian Sabah can make it to Nov

You think Bama is afraid of Florida? They wouldn’t stay within 20 points of this Bama team. Bring it on. Nobody in the East is on our level right now, with the possible exception of UGA and they are handicapped by the worst game day coach in the SEC.

Would bama be favored and win? Yes.

Injuries though in that physical game in a short schedule would definitely be a concern for any coach.

SEC does not want Florida to lose. Too many FL loses and Mullins gets canned. Mullins can't tecruit. Saban, Smart, O, Pruitt does not want FL with a new HC who can recruit. Go look at FL Top 25 recruits and see how few committed to FL. Plentifulm

LOL, Imagine a Georgia fan who "Enjoys" an SEC East schedule complaining about schedules. The east has been Georgia and the six dwarfs for years. And get a load of this: your freaking rivalry game is GEORGIA FREAKING TECH. Sit down and shut up and let others handle this.

BTW, nut up and restart the yearly game with Clemson and quit being a damn coward. That at least gave Georgia fans and the program a reason to exist but when they toughened up you skedaddled! Also quit your bitching about Alabama and try beating them occasionally. They whipped you the last 5 in a row. But you get your big chance (if there is a season) again this year.

They have played everybody who's anybody. Looking at the results over the past 5 years here are some of the names they have met: Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, Florida, Georgia (3 times), Washington, LSU (5 times), Clemson (3 times), Michigan, Auburn (5 times), Florida State when they were ranked in the top 5 and more. You have every advantage, a football mad state with more great prospects than anywhere AND NO IN STATE COMPETITION. A state legislature and government that has cut every corner to boost the team. By far the biggest recruiting budget in America and more 5 star players than anyone. And so far the only thing you can beat is your gums.

You know it and we all know it Bama will not get UF and UGA in the same year unless UF makes Sec championship. Every fan of the SEC besides you gumps knows bama gets special treatment from the SEC offices in ALABAMA

They are essentially. Just keeping the normal rotation/originally scheduled opponents and adding 2 based on preseason strength of schedule. The overhaul is all about the dates and lineup of games. It's the logical most sensible way to do it.
Schools are already prepared to play the original schedules so the only bitching is about the added 2 and most prefer it that way.

That's the beauty of the SEC rotational thing. What goes around comes around as far as the other division games. Everybody get's a rival and then an equal piece of everyone else's arse over the years.

The east used to be the shits then the west took over. But to slow leaks like you nothing in life is ever fair. You get the fattest girl friend then marry her since you can't do any better in your negative arse mind. You get a crap job because you are a misfit or so you think. And on it goes until you think everything in life is against you. Pitifully it even extends to your favorite CFB squad. Oh! Woe is me and woe is us! Everybody is cheating except my team! The thoughts and definition of a loser. LOL! If American Motors were still in business you'd be driving a Rambler!
