OP, I have never claimed to be the smartest guy on the Congo but I am really confused by your original post. What are you saying here? Dabo is getting all the elite talent that he wants. How is “Dabo Freaking Up”?

He is saying players are waking up to not wanting to go to Clemson unlike before. They are still getting players but Clemson is losing their shine they had because of Dabo’s comments the last few months.

On one hand I think it's insane that this is actually a controversy, on the other Dabo is beyond cringe so I don't feel much sympathy for him

Actually, 2 now. IMHO, I don't think it had anything to do with Dabo though in either case, especially Jordan Hancock. His decommitment has been a hot potato "rumor" for quite some time now. He just wants to go to another particular school.
