So dumb for so many reasons. If your gonna let people in at all then open the full thing up. If you’re scared of the virus then don’t go, no one is forcing you to be there.

At LSU, the bench seats are so Close together, you could still catch something from the guy three seats away.

Ok so will football be like this from now on? Waiting on a cure or vaccine? So what is the future plan?

CFB should take Kansas' average attendance and use that as the COVID capacity for next year. Problem solved.

I’m still optimistic, 2 months ago we weren’t even sure if there would be football. Now it’s a 50% capacity, 2-3 months from now who knows where we’ll be

Is that something that will be mandated or does he think the demand will be at that level ?

Just because Darryl KKK Royal Stadium is only half full most of the time doesn't mean the rest of us should suffer.

but if a funeral is held in Houston and the streets are filled with thousands of people the governor has no issue with that whatsoever.

the double standard is ridiculous.

don't participate in this BS. the experts were wrong all along.

half capacity in church but no issue with rioting in the streets. peaceful riots that is.

Man. Stadiums all over the country were already losing the battle against HD broadcasts on people's living room tvs.

If they limit attendance to 50% this season a lot of schools might never get back to pre-2020 attendance levels. Not without significantly reducing cost of game attendance going forward anyway.

This was a report from an unnamed source regarding a Zoom meeting with FBS ADs, and the A&M AD cast some doubt as to the accuracy of that assessment of the conversation. If we can't have mass gatherings, that means no concerts, no conventions, and no church (at least for some of the larger ones). That's not going to last. We're playing come Fall in front of as many folks who want to come (there will be some who opt out voluntarily).

Just pull a vols and increase your seat capacity without changing anything.

Oh look Tiger stadiums capacity is now 204,000. I guess we'll have to settle for half capacity of it.
