'01 SECCG against LSU was the low point of my young sports fandom. That team was meant to play in the NCG.

The game that broke me was 2010 Vols vs LSU. I have not reacted the same to sports since that game and its probably a good thing, since it was majority disappointment for that entire decade with my Vols.

It was not the Bluegrass Miracle.

Multiple Tennessee and Florida losses can duke it out and let me know later which one wins.

This past season should take that bad taste out of your mouth.

Such is life, gonna be ups and downs.

Very well put. From an outsider - it seemed that Yeldon touchdown was the first domino to fall for Les Miles. LSU was never really a threat for a national title in November the rest of his tenure there.

That Yeldon TD set us back on many levels.

That was a massive kick in the dick.

The atmosphere for that game was unreal though.

The loss to Florida after hurricane gate in Tiger Stadium was one of the most pissed I have ever been after a game.

When they stuffed Guice I almost completely lost it in my section.

On top of that the shark fricker with the “ they got what they deserved” quote midfield. Plus the Florida players running all over the field like they just won a title.

frick anything and everything Florida.

I fricking hate Florida but goddamn I love the intensity in those games. It’s nasty.

1983 Orange Bowl vs Nebraska. They were great. We them beat, but with a few minutes left they went the length of the field and beat us

So many that it's hard to pick, but: 1998 Bama, 2002 Arkansas, 2004 Auburn, 2005 Tennessee, 2008 Bama, 2005 Citrus Bowl, 2007-08 Arkansas, 2014 Bama, 2016 Florida

In person was the 2016 UT game. UGA struggled finding its groove and came out looking like a different team. Back and forth game and Eason drops a dime with a minute left only to have UT land a walk off Hail Mary.

2012 SECCG hurt like hell knowing UGA left two plays on the field by not clocking the ball. Score all but guaranteed UGA a NC vs. ND.

2017 NC was the ultimate heartbreaker. That game still haunts me. Terrible calls, easing up, and a freshman coming off a bench cost UGA.

87 ? Fla 18-17 game

1986. I was a student at the time. The game was in Gainesville. Florida was on probation, so the game was not televised. Auburn showed a closed circuit broadcast of the game in Memorial Coliseum. We were 7-0 going into the game and were leading 17-0 before Florida came back. I can still visualize Kerwin Bell limping into the endzone for the game winning 2-pt conversion.

This is greater than Stoernover for me. Mainly because watching us get dominated the next night by Pedo U was just continued misery. Reggie Fish muffed punt in SEC title game is right there too.

This double dribble and it’s not even close.

Auburn has almost ZERO history in basketball outside Charles Barkley.

To be this close to a national championship and to have it decided by a missed call.

Then having to spend 6 minutes watching a 90% free throw shooter (Kyle Guy) slowly hit all three buckets and take away your dream is gut wrenching.

I was at the game and was sitting alongside several Auburn football players and they all had tears in the eyes. One former all SEC lineman told me “I wish I could go in that locker room and tell them how proud of them I am” as he had water in his eyes.

There is no football game that can come close to that pain. None.

Because Auburn football has been good in seasons before and has been great in seasons before. Auburn football will certainly be great again.

Auburn basketball may have only had that one chance.

It still hurts.
