Bo Wallace. He definitely was inconsistent with his play however he played through a separated shoulder injury for a good portion of his career. His senior year in 2014 he also played with an injured ankle at his last home game. He wasn't the greatest by no means but he definitely helped build up that team.
I was going to mention him as well. He played hurt, had solid numbers, was a run threat and was a reliable guy that could run Freeze's offense as it moved from the end of Nutt to being a Top 20 team.

He was the most important recruit during the Freeze era in my opinion. I think Freeze even said that. We had no QB before him lol.

He wasn't perfect but he had a very good grasp of that offense and forced you to guard against the QB run - both semi-speed and power QB runs.
He made some great throws/decisions in that 2014 game against us.

Yeah he had finally gotten that shoulder healed up. He ran that no huddle well. That year we finally had a defense that could handle being on the field longer too. It was a great combo.
I wondered each game though if we would get "Bro" Wallace (bad decisions/interceptions) or Dr. Bo (good decisions).

My homer answer is Tyler Bray. Outside of that, Shaw and Allen are good ones.

I don't think most Auburn fans underrate him, but Nock Marshall was a wizard in that 2013/2014 offense. It's hard to imagine a more perfect fit for it.

I made a lot of fun of Tyler Bray (he made it so easy), but if that offense had any semblance of a defense on the other side they win 9-10 games.
Bray at QB
Neal/Lane at RB
Hunter/Patterson/Rivera at WR/TE
Stone/James/Fulton/Thomas up front
That team going 1-7 in the SEC is just absurdity

Their defense was straight arse. They allowed over 470 yards and 35 points per game.
This video from Big Vol Daddy perfectly describes that 2012 season:

Sal was one of the worst defensive coordinators in modern SEC history. Very good position coach, but clearly had no idea how to communicate things to his players.
I've never seen more busts in my life than that 2012 Tennessee defense. Guys just ran around wide open because they had 2 defenders in the same spot or nobody covering one half of the field.

Straight criminal
Sal and his orange sweater.
That sweater was the only thing that covered anything that year.

Blake Sims - Alabama 2014.
Had an amazing season, is given way too much blame for Bama collapsing against OSU.

They were still this loaded even after losing the 2011 SEC leading receiver in Da’Rick Rogers right before training camp. Still rolls me up we never got to see Hunter/Patterson/David Ricky on the field at the same time. That offense was stupid good but my god that defense made me want to pull my hair out
Never forget

Justin Fields was the most underrated quarterback by Kirby.

AJ McCarron
If you believed the dullards on here the kid could barely throw a spiral. Won back to back NCs and within a miracle Kick 6 of a third.

It's not like there wasn't enough talent to be adequate.
