Anfernee Mclemore

The winningest player in Auburn history.

Austin Wiley
Danjel Purifoy

Both went through a ton and contributed greatly to the best run of basketball in Auburn history. Loyal as hell.

Samir Doughty
Jvon Mccormick

Underrated studs, hearts of lions.

Do you know if we can still get credited with being a March Madness selection?

Some BB pundit said that several coaches indicated that there would still be a Selection Sunday, but that was early this morning

I hope so. They deserve that distinction and I’d like to put another tournament appearance into our record book.

I had the same thought. The field of 68 deserves the recognition of the accomplishment of making the tournament.

For these seniors, I am sad that they have played their final game for Auburn, but I am glad they Kicked UT in their last performance. This is and NCAA team and I wish the record books showed that. Three years in a row.

Hate this ending for these guys because they earned the right to play in the NCAA Tournament and see that 2019-2020 added to the banner in Auburn Arena

Regardless, I will always remember this class because of what they’ve achieved

Here here!

Some of the hardest working men we have ever had on the hardwood. Tenacious doesn't even begin to describe them.

The NCAA is supposedly considering granting an an additional year for seniors even the one`s who have had their seasons cut short, i wonder if any of our seniors would want to come back or would there be scholarship room? Regardless this senior class will be remembered for years for what they meant to our program.

I don't think any of ours would come back to be honest. Regardless, it's hard to see this happening at all. Would get very complicated.

NEWS: NCAA senior VP of basketball Dan Gavitt tells @CBSSports, that despite the fact there will be no March Madness this year, the NCAA has not yet completely killed the idea of building and releasing a 68-team 2020 NCAA Tournament bracket.

I copied a portion (the meat) of a Marcello article that focused on Bruce’s opinion on why he’d like a bracket reveal.

quote:

Why is it a big deal for Pearl? Well, it's not just about his Auburn program, which finished the regular season 25-6 and was unable to compete in the SEC Tournament.

"We'd celebrate Rutgers, Penn State and Dayton as a 1 seed" in the NCAA Tournament, Pearl told Auburn Undercover. "It's not perfect but why not go ahead an reward the teams that have earned the right to play for a national championship? It's a benchmark for everybody."

For Auburn, a bracket reveal would also confirm the Tigers were headed to the NCAA Tournament for a third straight time for only the second time in program history.

"I'm big on history and we're big on trying to make history," Pearl said. "The biggest disappointment for our kids is they're not going to get a chance to make some more of it. And they've been consistent with that. This is not like something that is all of a sudden new to them.

"It matters to Austin Wiley what was accomplished here and what else potentially could have been accomplished. With that all said, our kids have a very healthy perspective -- as best as we can understand it with where the world is right now and we understand what's important and not important. At the same time I think these kids should be recognized for what they accomplished and to be able to say for only the second time in school history they were able to make it (to the NCAA Tournament) three straight years is significant."
