Yes, I believe you have me mistaken as well. I think you are looking for a simple way to paint me with a very wide brush, and I'm telling you that sometimes I argue/discuss a thing for the purposes of arguing a thing. And in those cases, proper debate tactics would be the better plan for any poster. Look no further than at my recent discussion of the "mush rush" with Bear88. We were both respectful and had a nice time. We're going to continue soon about the 3-3 stack. It was nice and fun.

And other times I insult the absolute piss out of someones opinion because that's what I'm trying to accomplish in its entirety. Maximum fricking insult. I just always happen to support my insults with evidence.

An non-football example would be on facebook, a girl I graduated HS with posted a meme with a pic depicting a soldier from another country pointing guns at the back of people's heads on the side of the road, those people on their knees. It looked eastern block or Russian or something, maybe a pic from Communist USSR decades ago. Not sure as I didn't recognize the uniform. As part of this picture, it said, "This is Socialism. Is this what you want in the US? #SupportTrump"

Well, I smoked her arse. That picture is not depicting Socialism, it's depicting Totalitarianism. Which is a wildly different thing. Socialism by definition is "society deciding as a group to structure society so as to benefit the group." And her posting that meme has a direct negative effect on society, and I wanted to embarrass her arse. I wanted people to see just how stupid of a take that is, and for her embarrassment to be so bad that everyone who sees it might think twice about posting harmful shite like that again. frick her, and frick her horrible opinion. Did I enjoy it? Yep. Am i really going to change all of society? Nope, but I still believe it should be said.

And on this board, the equivalent gets posted but for football. Horrible takes that are detrimental to the fanbase and the University of Alabama. And I want to smoke that shite to get it out of here. I also enjoy it.

Am I an intense person who should be told to chill out sometimes? Sure. That's why I have no problem with you now. But I'm still gonna do what I want to do. This is not a justification, but an explanation as you and others seem to be asking for one.

Sometimes my point is nothing more than "frick what your opinion is maximally", and I'm very clear about doing it and the ramifications. You are trying to explain debate tactics to me as if I am not crystal clear about exactly what I'm doing.

Ignorance is a lack of info. We all share that trait to one degree or another. It's just a matter of what subject we're on.

Given that we have nothing in life that we didn't get from someone else, it's not smart to paint people with such a broad brush.

There are a lot of different life topics we could be discussing with this same group here and get absolutely "schooled" on.

That's what this thread and others like it have turned into - attack people who don't have the same opinion, then try to get the people banned if they respond.
