Damn. Their schedule is full of juggernauts. Wake, FSU, UVA, GA Tech, UNC, NC State - so many incredible teams.
To be fair, they did play ATM and win by 14. We only beat ATM by 43.

Yeah Bama did great with Tua last year right. (Valid to bring up because this year’s Bama team is worse than last year’s)
Yeah Auburn couldn’t beat Minnesota but I’m sure they would beat Clemson.

It’s not necessarily the individual games but the combined wear with the entire schedule. The numbers speak for themselves. They pretty much dominated six or seven top ten teams. Eventually playing that many good teams makes even a slightly bad game into a loss. Definitely no room to drop a stinker to where a team like North Carolina beats you.
But pick an individual ranked SEC team and compare them honestly to any individual team on your schedule and tell me Clemson had it tougher. You can’t if you’re honest with yourself.
And it’s stupid but because y’all keep making dumbass schedule comparisons.. the only common opponent was ATM and LSU beat them by 43 points and y’all lallygagged and beat them by 14. Clemsons schedule was a joke and that’s why the defending title winners were seeded at three. Don’t know why y’all are so buff hurt over a fact.
