Does Tennessee have a shot at the playoffs next year

Here’s the way I see it.
Our record by year (improving)
2017: 4-8
2018: 5-7 +1 win
2019: 8-5 +3 wins
2020: 10-2/11-1?
Our defense will be elite, bama and ga are finished but we have to play ou and Florida who we can’t beat
If we snag one out of the two it’s 11-1 and we’ll defeat LSU in the conference title game and enter the playoffs imo
I could be wrong though

No. Not even close.
But Tennessee is either at the end of its long slump or at the beginning of its rise. Both are a vast improvement.
For a realistic shot at the 4th spot, Tennessee needs to minimally win 2 of 3 against Georgia, Florida, and Alabama with a SEC Championship victory. Or sweep the three, loose the championship, and get help from other power 5 conferences.
But I’m rooting for Tennessee because of your permanent cross rival.

Tennessee is the offseason champs every year, at least wait until the season is officially over before you start beat your chest that this is the year again.

What? Kentucky was one yard away from beating Tennessee this season. Tennessee is not going to be that good to make a jump to get in the playoffs.
Kentucky is going to be fighting Tennessee for the 3rd spot in the SEC East for years to come.

Dude, don't do this to yourself. This won't age well. We are still a couple of years away from that kind of talk...and that's only if it all goes right.
