Who do we want as our X receiver for the first half?

I'm sure a couple of WRs will get reps there. But who should get the most and why?

I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but I'm hoping Tyler Simmons steps up. Kid plays out of his mind in MBS.

I just need a classic, electric UGA rushing touchdown. Swift from 40+ yards or more would light the fuse on that stadium.

I expect the TE's to get a lot of attention

It won’t be pretty regardless of who we line up out there. LSU will go press man and completely eliminate our receivers. Their DBs are by the far the best we will have seen.

We have to try to survive the first half and hope that Pickens can catch some 50/50 balls. Even if we do that, I just don’t see a path to our offense scoring 20 points in this game.

You really think that D won't give up yards? They can't get a pass rush, which is the thing that most throws Fromm off his game, and if he's patient receivers, backs, and TEs will get open. That's why everyone with even an average O-line moves the ball against them.

Plus they can't stop the run. Pick UGA in this game because the Dawgs will win both lines of scrimmage and on balance have comparable if not slightly better athletes.

What have you seen from this year's team that gives you reason to say this?

You have the only legitimate answer out of what? 10 replies.

Sometimes, I expect too much on this board.

We need 2 14 minute 20 play drives, on in the first quarter and one in the second quarter. Just get is to the second half within 7.

This team doesn't need either Pickens or Cager to win the game. First half, second half, whoever is in at receiver it will be the Defense that wins this game.

UGA is looking at somewhere around 30 points on Saturday. Hold LSU to 25 and I like our chances.

I'm not sure we throw a pass in the first half.

I'm not sure if I'll survive the first half. If you see a tall guy being pulled out on a stretcher just know that I'm finally in a better place.

I know he's had been wearing a shoulder brace that's limited his motion most of the season because of an injury.I believe he was able to play without vs GT.

I also emailed Buck Belue about Tommy Bush getting reps and expects him to play primarily in the 1st half.

It's a ball control game for us. We're not going to be some new team. Run the fricking ball down their throat. Keep Burrow off the field. Get a turnover late. Our advantages are on both lines, our disadvantages are in space deeper into the field on both sides of the ball. Play to your strengths. Run run and run again. Trust your D.

Sure but Fromm is gonna have to make some
3rd down conversions.If he doesn't it's gonna be a long day.

Agree. Was joking about not throwing a pass. But don't expect us to come out and throw it all over the Benz is my point. We match up best on offense with our o-line kicking their d-line's arse. Renders Chaisson irrelevant also.

To be honest, I think UGA has a chance to win if they can execute consistently.

Poor routes, dropped balls, missed reads, overthrows... Several missed opportunities every game...

If we can limit the self-inflicted mistakes, I think the offense is capable of putting up more than enough points.

D-Rob is a deep threat if we use him and hit him. He can beat these DBs and definitely beat the safeties. Target him because he'll be the best receiver we have on the field.
