That's Murf Baldwin "The Underground King" with his YouTube channel "Top Billin". He's a professional sports writer with actual football background and does a phenomenal job with his analysis/breakdown videos. He also has a Patreon channel.

I've been following him for a few years now. Good stuff.

Nice analysis but LSU will load the box and we will not be able just run all over them and march down the field. I'm hopeful but I just don't think it's realistic considering our offense performance this season.

Can you explain to me how they will load the box? I’d like to learn.

Bring Stevens and Delpit down to play the run/take away TE and RB routes. Mo Hampton at free playing center field and squatting Stingley and Fulton on your receivers

So who's gonna cover the other WR? You do know our standard package has 3 WR's (2 and a slot)

Stevens and Delpit are both safties by trade so in those situations would rotate one of them and then put Patrick Queen, who is our best cover LB, on TE/RB. That’s if we want to stay man free which I would assume considering that’s what Aranda wants his base defense to be anyway and this seems like a game suited for it.

It's our formation about 90% of the time,so "loading the box" against a 11 personnel package isn't much of an option.

I think y’all will play more 12 personnel this week actually to try to impose your will with your OL, play ball control to keep us off the field, and give Swift some extra support. Playing 11 with your 3rd, 4th, and 5th WR seems like a matchup problem for you.

Really the only main difference between us and Bama/Ole Miss is we don't have a running QB for play fakes.

Everyone knows Fromm aint keeping it.

Maybe we let him keep one early to get them thinking.

I would be very surprised if this happened.

Not gonna be easy but barring injury in the 1st half we'll stick with it.
We did get a WR back who's been injured all year (Tommy Bush) a highly recuited kid out of Texas.Im hoping he gets reps this weekend.

I guess we’ll see, I just can’t imagine expecting to have a lot of success out of 11 when you’re down your top 2 targets and you’re struggling to complete passes as it is.

We haven't done it 90,% of the time this and we had the exact same situation last week (Cager out and Pickens didn't play 1st half) and I don't remember running with 2 TE's once except for short yardage/goal line

You're freakin hilarious.Ive watched almost every quarter of this team and I highly doubt you've watched 2 of our games
and you actually think we're gonna run an offense that we barely used all year?

Based on what? Me busting you on you're idiotic "loading the box" comment? If you'd
paid attention to any of our games you'd have known we almost exclusively had run 11 personnel this season.

Lew,get this clown off our board.

You are getting all worked up for nothing, I’m just giving my opinion based on what I’ve seen and what I know about both teams. No more, no less. And yes I watched the Florida and Auburn games, How much LSU have you watched?

Also, you want to kick me off the board over an innocuous X’s and O’s conversation?

Yeah, this ain't the SECrant my man. It is possible to visit an opponent's board and have a conversation without falling back into that sarcastic smack tone. If you can't do that, dont expect any goodwill for your "innocuous X’s and O’s conversation".

We ran 2 TE sets against A&M.
I think Murf did a video on that earlier this week as well.

2 TEs on one side and 2 WRs on the other.
The benefit to the offense is that it declares the defense (not a lot of disguising in that defensive package).

We can call run/pass versus the matchup in the look.

As for receivers, we have Robertson, Blaylock, and Simmons. They are all capable and all have started. One doesn't blow the others out of the water. But having 3 out there at the same time is not a liability. They all do things well.

I didn’t think that was any kind of actual smack talk, just a very obvious observation

I like Murf a lot. I catch a lot of his YouTube content. He is very sound in his analysis.

The only drawback is that he is a fanboy. He has favorite players to fawn over and favorite players to dog. It takes a lot for him to move the needle once he gives a player a nickname.

Just this week, he has taken a step back on "The General" Jake Fromm. It has taken a lot to slow his roll on Fromm. Fromm hasn't deserved fanboys for a long time (the good hasnt pushed the scale against the negative).

Baldwin still doesn't give any credit to "Rubber band man - Richard Lecounte" (Richard is going to be a top 3 round draft pick and may get all conference while at UGA). I get it. Richard struggles covering a slant with traffic when Richard is lined up 15 yards off the line of scrimmage on a slot receiver 2 yards off the line (duh). For other defenders/DBs, Murf acknowledges that everyone is going to get beat. He provides cover because this is football (it happens). But for Lecounte, Murf is going to nitpick a third round draft pick because he was in his doghouse as a sophomore starter.
The nicest thing I have heard about Lecounte is that "he deserves to be out there" meaning that he is better than the sophomore backups this year.

The funniest fanboy is for Dr Pressure Todd Grantham. I crack up when I see Murf carry his water. I know Granthams defenses very well. I like a lot of what he does. But he has obvious flaws that confound me when fanboys ignore them.
