It has to be Drinkwitz if Sterk was on that flight

Napier was in Boone today as well. Could have spoke with both coaches in the time between wheels down and wheels up.

Between the two Drinkwitz. I would have rather had him go another half hour east and talk to Clawson.

Good luck with Drink....

I think we were down to him or butch davis…

Lordy mercy we have sucked so badly for the past 5 years...

We need to stick with roundball and burn down RRS!

My only reservations with Drinkwitz is his lack of experience with being a HC.

He is a great offensive mind that has worked under both Malzahn and Harsin. He put a good product on the field at NC State in 2017 and 2018.

His current staff is loaded with SEC experience. Ted Roof won a natty at Auburn the DC and LB coach, but that means Hargreaves is probably out. Charlie Harbison has coached at 5 SEC schools. I'd hope he would try to retain Haley but his Dline coach played at Kentucky and is from Panama City FL. It might mean the return of Pat Washington as well. Im pretty meh about that guy but the HC is going sink or swim with guys he is comfortable with.

He is better than the names Karraker belched out for Ace and Gary to run with.

Obviously that's a good thing, and some of the staff has had some success. I'm okay with this, just was concerned with lack of HC experience.

The roster at Arkansas is keeping coaches from taking their money. Whoever takes that job is going to get hammered next year. They have a couple of layups in Nevada and Charleston Southern but they dont have a bye until the 3rd weekend of October and play Notre Dame, MissState, aTm, BAMA, and LSU before they get there.

Mike McCarthy trending for HC job. Wants an NFL job but could look to P5 job. Not a stranger to the midwest as he attended Baker University.
