Me too. He sold that to the editor. May have been an easy sell with the way they had been playing but he followed worse teams to guaranteed losses in the past.

Animal control would just keep driving down the street.

Would Arkansas fans be happy if Lunney Jr. was your permanent coach?

Trailer parks would combine forces and couches would burn.

Hell no. He’s an absolutely awesome guy and I’d love to see him on the next staff again as TE coach but I’d probably give up my tickets if we went that route. I don’t think I’d be the only one either.

I remember him when he was your QB on the 1995 team that won the West. That’s all I know about him.

I didn't learn to recently that animal control only deals with domesticated animals.

Cops get to deal with wild animals

The reality is no one going to deal with that scenario. That's 3000 lbs of combined anger that just has to play out. Farmers will cover it.

Whoever was filming it was taking their life in their own hands.

The winner could have sorted him out next.

Back to Football:

Matter has tweeted an article about Drinkwitz. The link is to his twitter page, not the PD.

I’d be willing to consider it if he stops quoting trump.

I would think being seen as too vocally political (particulary R-leaning) could be used as a weapon against him by families and fellow coaches in the recruiting wars.

The PC mafia always have the tar and feathers ready.

He comes in here and wins 9 games a year and no one will care. I'm not totally convinced he is the guy but the musings of people on social media aren't going to impact what amounts to a $100 million/year decision.

He took over a great situation of course, but then turned in the best year in school history

Drinkwitz has a better staff IMO assuming he would bring all of the guys with SEC experience with him. Neither one are my preference, though.
