That is pretty damn awesome.
Can't tell what the sign on the top says.
Seems a little hollow though without playing Texas as the original purpose was to symbolize a "burning desire to BTHO t.u." (in Aggie speak).
I love that the student continue to do this and I think all the ways they honor the students who died in '99 is really great heartwarming stuff. We give the Ags a lot of shite but their love for tradition and honoring the past and those who came before is second to none.

Looks awesome. The article I read said it was 40’ tall.
Is it just off campus or quite a ways away? I think I’d like to attend one of the lightings one day to see it in person
