Heisman with an asterisk.

Tua was the favorite of most media sources and vegas odds alike before his injury vs UT

After UGA gets thru with LSU no one will be mentioning Burrow as a Heisman candidate.

From Sports Illustrated week 9.....

quote:

Coming into the 2019 college football season, many pegged Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence and Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa as the Heisman Trophy favorites. Fast-forward to Week 9, and LSU’s Joe Burrow is the odds-on favorite to take home the trophy, with Westgate giving him 6-5 odds. Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts and Tua are second and third respectively at 7-5 and 7-2 odds respectively.

You realize he beat you last year right? Admittedly he didn’t light the world on fire but still got the job done with a worse offensive scheme.

Clearly a result of the lack of playmakers this season.

updated odds for Heisman Trophy. Tua and Jalen at #1 and #2Posted on 10/17/19 at 2:55 pm to John Milner

Joe surpassed both Tua and Jalen, he was like Houdini with his many escapes of the rush and he's a tough SOB, facing a brutal schedule he survived numerous hits without getting injured. Joe Burrow earned that no.1.

Expects Fields to grab some votes after the Penn St and Michigan games.

UGA played a horrible game and beat themselves. Burrow doesn’t worry me. I’ve seen a lot of football and UGA has faced better QBs

Yet he played in week 11 in game where Burrow solidified his place at the top of Heisman running.

Thanks, Ted. If Tua came back for another year, he would win it!

How did UGA give up 36 points to themselves?

Why are you wearing Clemson orange? I wouldn’t worry about them if I were you as I doubt LSU will be making the playoffs after UGA manhandles them

Yep! We totally blew it that day. Won’t happen again. Our team has been gunning for LSU ever since that horrible day. It’s gonna be real
