LSU is 80th in sacks allowed per game.
Joe is an amazing talent and deserves the Heisman, but he takes a lot of sacks too.

Tua was the favorite of most media sources and vegas odds alike before his injury vs UT
I quickly scanned a list of all the Heisman winners and didn't see asterisk next to the winners who got there because of injuries to other front-runners.
It hasn't been done before, why start now?

You're right. Injuries do need to be accounted for.
