LSU and Alabama are clearly not as good on defense.
There's not a team in the country that could put up 40+ points on Brent Venables.
Interesting how the national media has changed the narrative. Used to it was "defense wins championships" and that's why they liked all those SEC teams but now they don't even talk about it.

No way LSU could defend Boston College, UNC, or NC State..the list goes on...congrats on a great season..Clemson is looking impressive so far. I'm so scared, I hope LSU doesn't have to play Clempson.

I disagree.
IMO Burrow and the LSU Fighting Tigers could hang 40 on Clemson. I believe this opinion is shared by many across the country as well.
