Anybody have a summary of what this article says? Curious to hear what some of these coaches have to say.

- If Tua plays Alabama scores enough to win

- Tua's ability to read the defense pre-snap in the RPO game is what makes us a 45-50 pt per game offense. When it's not Tua out there, our reads and plays are much more based on the box and how many defenders are there. Tua's pre-snap reads are next level

- Fear re: LSU is that their running game is entirely inside zone based. If their receivers aren't winning against man on 1st and 2nd downs they may have issues. Their O-line is not great.

- LSU's DBs won't be super phased by the athleticism of Alabama's receivers as they see it in practice every day

- The scariest thing about Alabama's receivers is you can do a good job for 9 out of 10 plays and the 10th is a post route that they break a tackle and go 70 yards.

- SEC coordinator "Alabama's receivers, you look at them like 'Oh, shite'

- LSU's defensive personel are "just good players". They can't rush the passer

- Divinity (now not on the team), Chaisson and Stevens are versatile

- Alabama's defense is good and talented, just not dominant. Don't "choke people".

- LSU does the best job in America or challenging the middle of the field. They'll try that to take advantage of our inexperienced LBs

They killed Auburn on this, with CEH cutting to the outside where there was a lot of space. Gotta think that the coaches absolutely see this and will try their hardest to plan for it.

While there is some truth to this, none of LSU's WRs have the speed and athleticism as Jeudy, Ruggs, and Waddle, IMO. and Smith is at least as athletic and explosive as any of their WRs.

I was perusing Tiger Rant and some chatter that Delpit may not be quite 100%. Don't know if that is true or not.

That's about right. I think our defense will play well enough against LSU. LSU will score and probably in the 28-31 range. Auburn held them to 23 with a better DL than us but a weaker secondary. I could see it going either way but I don't think a blowout is in order. Maybe one team swings a score one way or a score and a FG but the other is right behind etc. I would be surprised if every possession was a score, there will be some punting.

I am a little concerned with how slow Perine is at getting his punts off. I am guessing LSU will test him.

Not to sound homerish but LSU's top 4 receivers are not in the same league as our top 4 receivers.

It's just not even close and one has legit Olympic level speed.

I think the field conditions may have played a part in that. The field was very unstable. LSU also seemed to play into Auburn’s hands at critical times, running into the teeth of that Dline on 3rd/4th and short a couple times that ended drives. The offense generally moved the ball at will, otherwise. I don’t know that you can extrapolate much from that score to this game. I expect both teams to score around 40.

LSU also played the 4th qtr the way a team does when they feel confident in their ability to hold a lead.

I kind of agree, I'm not sure how much we can take away from that one.

Delpit doesn’t worry me much for this game, he is an All-American inside the box safety, but his coverage abilities can be taken advantage of. If tries tries to cover any of our WRs in the slot, that will be our advantage. Doubt Aranda asks him to do so though.

I'm a little concerned our lack of quality depth on defense in the front 7 will eventually hurt us in the second half and LSU puts up a lot of points. I guess the perfect scenario would be we get a decent lead and eat a lot of clock with our running game in the 4th quarter.

I would imagine he is being coached to get rid of it as quickly as possible. I know I would be.
