BATON ROUGE, La. — Senior linebacker Michael Divinity is no longer with the LSU football team, multiple sources tell The Athletic. Divinity was already set to be held out of three games this season with what were called “coach’s decisions,” and another team discipline issue has led to Divinity being removed from the team altogether and likely missing the remainder of the season.

His nameplate is already off his locker in the LSU facility.

That hurts a lot.
ETA: probably our best pass rusher.

LSU’s star players usually wait until after the Bama game to quit.

Sounds like an involuntary thing.

Pretty significant loss, though there is some promising youth behind him.

If this was over weed, then we can confirm that LSU is not all that interested in winning championships.

It was coach O's counter to Tua not being 100%. He was getting ahead of the bammer ankle excuses after the loss.

If it was over weed, then I kind of feel sorry for the guy.

Look, I get it, rules are rules, but I can't imagine putting my body through the physical grind of SEC games, and practice, and not be able to have the option to smoke or eat some marijuana.

But, like I said, rules are rules I reckon.
