It's a loss for sure. Not a devastating loss, but a significant one. He's probably the 6th or 7th most talented guy on our defense, and we still have two MLBs who are starter quality, but he's a much better pass rusher than the other two, and lack of a pass rush is our defense's biggest weakness.

Seems pretty much what I'd read from football people. The only big loss is in pass rush, which LSU was already struggling with some.

Then why did you say “he leaves” like it was his decision.

Because that is LITERALLY what Bruce Feldman tweeted. And the current headline is the literal headline from the article.

There are several LSU "fans" here that openly celebrate Bama player injuries. So, there's that.

Meh

It isn't an injury. It's a dumbass smoking weed and a shite compliance department.

We'd celebrate too if one of Bama's best players was kicked off this week.

Yes, they did. He's had multiple failed tests.

But the NCAA doesn't even test for weed. Don't think Bama or most major programs test for weed. It is absurd we still do and enforce it.

frick.

Teams should use this to nega-recruit against LSU.

They do and we've heard rumors of losing recruits for it.

This isn't new news. I think Speedy Noil said something about it before going to A&M.

They absolutely do. Players generally get piss from someone else and tape it to their thigh

Then I must be the only LSU fan wanting Tua to play.

They always have. This isn't anything new. Remember that we kicked our Heisman finalist off the team for smoking weed. It's cost us some good players. On the other hand, I think that we've lucked out and "missed" on a couple of headcases.

And this isn't even the only problem in recent memory. You may remember that Kristian Fulton originally got a 2-year suspension (later reduced to one year) from the NCAA for trying to cheat a drug test. The NCAA tests for PEDs, but Fulton had smoked weed recently and thought that he was going to be tested for that and tried to use his girlfriend's pee. That was a big loss for us in the 2017 season.

No focking way that LSU kicked a kid that good off the team the week of the Bama game over weed.

LSU kicked Tyrann Mathieu off the team for weed. You think they wouldn't do it to Divinity? FML.

Hmm, don't think they do. Don't think A&M does either. Speedy Noil reportedly didn't want LSU because of this.

I would do the same if I were Bama fans. This is an absolute huge loss and the timing couldn’t be worse.

You wouldnt believe the celebration they had when Dylan Moses had a season ending injury. Those guys are worthless to me after seeing what they had to say
