Is it fixable? Is it bad mechanics? Guy was constantly missing slants and hooks high, behind, late, etc.
Do y’all think this is something he’ll get better at or is he a Jordan Jefferson type player?

His decision making is also suspect

He's a kid going through puberty. Much can change as he gets older.

He’s having a rough time as a freshman trying to navigate the hardest schedule in the country. His oline isn’t helping him at all.

It was painful to watch. Hell, you could see our receivers getting pissed.
I don’t know if it’s fixable, but if that is the best we have in our stable of QB’s then we are in for a long haul of sad times.

Agree, you could see the Wrs are almost expecting bad throws and throttling down like a goalie out there

His best throw of the night I thinknhe Was trying to throw the ball out of bounds

As bad as he was & AU only losing by 3 is amazing in itself.

It’s because the team around him is good enough to win this conference.

Yeah, he’s bad. LSU defense had nothing to do with it. Auburn’s defense is the best in the nation though.

The best throw was when he missed the throw that would have been a pick 6 by Stingley.

Fulton would have had one in the first quarter, as well. Broke on it perfectly and had it, only to watch it float over him and the WR.

Maybe they can watch film of LSU's o-line and learn proper technique.

Our offensive staff’s Milesean desire to run up the middle on 3 and 4 and short when it was the only thing that didn’t work all day is pretty hard to figure out. To AU’s credit, they stoned it every time. They also made LSU pay for most if its mistakes. And there were many.

I dunno, but Gus literally destroys young QBs. He has only been truly successful getting players who learn how to play football somewhere else.

Nix made a good throw in a critical spot when an Oregon DB got turned around. Since then he’s looked like a very pedestrian QB.
Not sure why Auburn fans and the media is ready to crown him as the next great QB.

I mean, it really is though. If LSU gave you Myles Brennan, Auburn is as good as any team in the nation. Those interior DL Auburn have are fricking nasty.
