so I’ve lived in Montana 4 years now, but as much as I love this place and after never wanting to leave, I’ve lately realized it’s a little too sleepy for me

not enough culcha

where should I move? I’ve considered bend or flagstaff next. I’m also leaning towards Colorado... where it’s full of people.

I work in nutrition and have an active lifestyle, with dogs. not too interested in long winters anymore...

If you'd like to move to the East, consider Asheville, Chattanooga, or Knoxville. Based on your interests, I think you'd like those cities.

For smaller options, consider Boone, NC or Blue Ridge, GA.

In all seriousness you should head to the OT Lounge and introduce yourself. They are thoroughly helpful over there.

Flagstaff is where you want to be.

Oregon is now closed to all new residents.

We're all a bunch of tree hugging dirty hippies. It never stops raining, even in Bend. Terrible place. Do not move here. I would escape but I'm married with a kid and I'm not even a football legend like Al Bundy.

You want "culcha"?

Move to New York City. Plenty of it there.

Bend, OR and Flagstaff, AZ??? For "culcha"??? Get real. Unless you're into the Woodstock-style of "culcha" of living in the open with free latrines, no money to be made in those towns.

Into nutrition? What'dya do, pop peanuts and prunes? Find a new profession and location whereby you can make a real living---especially in these days.

If you like vaguely mountainous terrain I'd suggest NW Arkansas. Lots of nature trails, plenty of local breweries, and if we get a new coach you can even watch SEC level football in person.

Do you have a degree in Food Science? If so Tyson or one of the agri-businesses will snap you up.

What do you like best about living in Montana?

And what's your idea of "culcha" that you're seeking?
