Whenever Tennessee is good again the East will become more balanced

Also - wouldn't that mean Georgia, Kentucky, Florida and Carolina would basically have 1 free date on the entire schedule?

Yes.

Hard no on this idea.

Thats completely unnaceptable and its just to assuage 4 of you dipshits. The rest of us couldn't care less if you dont like it. Schedule change is coming, better learn to deal with it.

I would wager a substantial amount that your AD has zero interest in getting rid of the permanent opponent. It’s usually a lot harder to make a bowl when you’re playing Alabama, Auburn, or LSU instead of Mississippi State.

For the same reason, no way any of the historical bottom half of the league would actually want more conference games.

Why do you think there is no balance?

There are 3 Big 6 members on each side. Sure, Tennessee blows now but there will eventually be a downturn for Bama/LSU/Auburn

The Roommate Switch makes the most sense and eliminates 95% of the complaints over divisions.

It would be a bold move but one I bet would be quickly copied.

I did. And no. Not under any circumstances.

Until all conferences are somewhat equal, I'm going to just laugh at the stupidity of people demanding more conference games.

Completely realign the conferences to achieve a semblance of parity, and then we'll talk.

The way that the big 10 does it is Indiana and Purdue keeps each
Other every year while everyone else get a CD permanent opponent that switches every 6 years

Michigan had Wisconsin from 2016-2021

2022 they will get Nebraska

What? "No semblance"? You guys have dominated the West...look at last year. What was you average victory margin? 29 pts?

East had more teams in the top 15 and better record head to head.Did you not notice that AU lost to UF Saturday.

Let Aub-UGA-UTenn-Ala have permanent opponents and everyone else rotate. It is permanent opponents that screw up the damned schedule.

10 SEC games will NEVER be approved by the conference. Maybe we can get 9 in 5-10 years.

What we CAN do is require each school to only schedule FBS teams.

if you moved Auburn to the west keeping Bama and LSU would be more important to the fan base than Miss St. 10 game schedule is crazy, at 8 games Auburn already has the toughest schedule why make it harder?
