LSU - Still A Mystery

Everyone thinks LSU is a legit playoff team. Why?
Their resume isn’t anymore impressive than Auburn’s was before they were exposed by Florida. I, for one, wouldn’t be shocked to see the Gators pull off a win. The only reason I think LSU will win is due to home field advantage.
If the game is really close, which I think it will be, does this expose LSU somewhat?
On the same token, if LSU beats Florida by 20+, maybe we should take them seriously?
I mean, I’m saying this as an Alabama fan. I don’t see LSU as a legit threat at this point.
We’ll find out this weekend.

Is this your logic...LSU beats UF by 21 and LSU is legit. LSU beats UF by 18 and LSU is not legit?

weird, cause i see bama as a legit threat. the way you guys handled juggernauts duke, new mexico state, south carolina, southern miss, ole miss. very, very impressive! might be the best football team I’ve ever seen fielded

Oddly enough, LSU has proven more this year than Bama, but I concede that both have much more to prove.

Yes, if LSU wins a close game against yet another top 10 team, they will certainly be exposed as a fraud.

No.
If LSU wins by 1 score or loses - not legit
If LSU wins by 2 scores - legit, but not a real threat
If LSU wins by 3 or more scores - ok they’re an actual threat
I’m looking at this as an Alabama fan, so LSU can be a good team but not an actual threat. I’m trying to gauge whether or not they could actually beat us, or give us a scare

No mulligans left for LSU.....thats for sure....but if we pile drive FL this Saturday by 20+.....I would think people would finally sit up and take notice.

Could possibly be the record setting offense lead by a legitimate Heisman candidate coupled with a top 20 defense that is only getting better, which fields arguably the best defensive backfield and defensive back in the country, Stingley jr.
