Undefeated Clemson
OR
1-loss Auburn or 1-loss LSU to undefeated Alabama
Both would have:
Win over ranked OOC game
Win over LSU/Auburn (top 10, possibly top 5 win)
Wins over Texas A&M, rest of SEC West
Wins over Georgia and Florida (Auburn) or Florida (LSU) - top 10 wins
Should a 1-loss team like this sit home in favor of undefeated Clemson? (presuming all other scenarios pan out)
An undefeated Oklahoma will have a win over Texas
An undefeated Ohio State will have a win over Wisconsin, plus wins over Penn State and some lower ranked teams
Clemson with wins over 4 loss Texas A&M (at minimum in this scenario) and I guess come-from-behind-against-Old-Dominion UVA?

Auburn would also have a W over Florida

Clemson is the defending champs. They deserve a spot

That's right. Slipped my mind.

Based on nothing but 2019 resume it wouldn’t be a close call at all. Outside Clemson the ACC is a complete dumpster fire.

Undefeated P5 teams will get in unless there are 5.
See Washington from a few years ago.
IF an SEC team is 11-1. Thirty get in IF there are only 2 P5 undefeated teams.
Clemson is in as AcC champ. Would have to lose to USC.

Never mind. I see you included that.

Agreed. LSU beats Bama by 13 this year.

An undefeated conference winner (Clemson) over a 1-loss team that can't win their own conference? Clemson every time.

Computers would probably put the LSU team in, but the CFP committee knows about last year. They will look at last year and think Clemson deserves a chance until they lose.

Honestly, if you go undefeated and a group of people decide you shouldn't have a chance to defend your title, we need to change the system.
Of course I'd love for LSU to get in in this scenario, but if we can't even win our own division, I'm not going to argue the undefeated current champion doesn't deserve it.

Clemson has an UCF schedule.
We don't reward UCF schedules with playoff births.

Assuming something like Oklahoma losing to Texas knocks them out, and this one loss thing happens, why wouldn't a one loss Georgia be included in this?
Actually there is a chance Georgia could, like you know, BEAT Alabama in Atlanta?
And actually I think you might have to consider the fact that the BCS might actually have Bama fatigue.
I'd wager that a one loss Notre Dame would be much better for ratings than a one loss Bama (or Auburn).
Hmmmm:
Georgia
Clemson
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Might be a ratings winner. I'd bet that the powers-that-be would prefer to have a one loss Oklahoma than undefeated Clemson, but I'm not sure they could sell that one.
Tell me something. If the BCS committee got to directly invite the playoff teams based on their own considerations, and that consideration was strictly to have big viewership of the playoff games...
What four teams would they pick?

You're just being willfully retarded with that statement.
