LSU does not routinely defend the type of offense they faced on Saturday and do not recruit and train players to line up in that fashion. LSU typically operates a grown man defense that helps players get drafted into the NFL. Despite the novelty tricks they faced against Texas, LSU was able to handily defeat the Big 12s best program in their own stadium on national TV. So I would say this LSU team is multi faceted, with skill on each side of the ball, opposed to unbalanced.

You are kinda right. It was like every B12 game where defense is optional. LSU is Oklahoma. They look good against shite defense until they play somebody with a defense.
