8,9,10 wins, he has to beat the Gators? Just wondering how much patience UG fans will have with always finishing second?

I’m not sure how long it is, but there’s a lot of slack in the leash at the moment.

He's had them in a position to win it all the last two years. As long as he continues to recruit well and they are competing for the SEC title most years, I don't think there's any question about his job security. It takes some breaks to win it all.

Considering he is 1 of 8(ballpark #) active coaches to make it to the CFP I'd say the leash is pretty long.
Last years team should be the least talented team we field over the next 3-5 years and we still took Bama to the wire. UGA fans are pretty darn happy with where Kirby has brought us.
It'll be more interesting to see how long Mullen gets when you consider the coaching changes at UF over the last couple of years. Especially considering you guys went to ATL with both of your previous HCs.

Beat Tech and Kirby is good for 2019.
Lose to Tech and the tone of the fanbase changes.
Is that the answer you are looking for?

Are you referring to the metaphorical leash on his coaching career or the belt that guy has to hold onto like a leash while kirbys coaching?

As long as he is man handling the gators, going undefeated in the east winning the sec every other year and making the playoffs every few years and making the national title game every other year he will be there for the long haul

Well no shite, im sure any coach in the world will be safe if they can just maintain those few little things you mentioned above.

Bad response thread is bad... Not to mention someone had already made it about a week ago.

Well, Kirby hasn't eaten up much of his leash like MulletMouth has done to his. Plus, Kirby's accomplished a lot more than MulletMouth has.
I suppose you Floridiots are ONCE AGAIN becoming accustomed to 4 wins, 5,6,7, maybe 8 a year -- as your history bears out.
Tough titty, little gator, but the milk's still good.

Not one...we don't hire manic types like Spurrier or Meyer who up and quit at the first sign of adversity. We also don't hire shark jumpers....

Richt survived 06-11, so it’s long.

Looks like matt is back to being unfunny.

If beating the Gators was the metric, we would have made Kirby governor with the point differential from the last two Florida games.
