You don’t know much about Utah State do you? And triple option teams like Ga Southern have been sec kryptonite for awhile

Cal was a decent team when this was scheduled. Plus, Memphis hasn't exactly been a push-over for the last few years. When Ole Miss is allowed to have a decent coach again, I'll ask for better games. The funny thing is, we could probably run the table on Alabama's OOC opponents.

A lot of people will rip ours but I love it. We play our only other FBS team in Mississippi in Starkville. A Big 12 Team at the end of a home and home(which I prefer over neutral sites). And Louisiana Lafayette in New Orleans. Which if we're going to play a G5 team away, I want it in a NFL Stadium or a large city like Memphis. And yes the SEC teams usual FCS team
So I absolutely love our schedule. There was a time where our NC Schedule was really bad and it isn't anymore

I like the Ole Miss schedule. Playing regional Memphis and a PAC 12 team on the end of a home and home.

Utah State finished last year ranked and beat the North Texas team that slapped Arkansas by 40.

They also went 11-2 with their only 2 losses being to Boise State and Michigan State in close games.

We were supposed to play Ohio St this year but they backed out. We have Oklahoma next year. Let me enjoy this year.
