POLL: Which NCAA men’s sport would you add for all SEC schools?

I omitted fencing, rifle, skiing, and water polo because ... well, those ain’t happenin’.
Here are the remaining NCAA sanctioned sports we don’t currently play (as a conference).
Do any of ‘em do it for you?
Gymnastics
Ice Hockey
Lacrosse
Soccer
Volleyball
Wrestling
Me ... I’m a huge men’s soccer and LAX fan. I don’t get at all why these sports aren’t embraced on a larger scale.

Dumb that most schools don't have men's soccer. Pretty much everyone already has the facilities for the women. Get rid of football and make it happen.

Lacrosse is the next major sport.
I actually find the sport interesting.
Wouldn't be surprised if some SEC schools add it. Some have it at the club level but not the NCAA level.
I think Texas is producing enough elite players for the Texas schools to start playing.

I wish Hockey had more of a presence in the South. I started to really get into it when Dallas won the Stanley Cup in 1999 and went back in 2000.

I would love for all SEC teams to have soccer. I played for over 10 years and would watch LSU. I don't watch now because I don't have a rooting interest other than USA men's and women's in the Olympics or World Cup.

Agree with you fully.
I have a couple of nephews who are playing LAX at the middle school and HS levels.
One is traveling all over the US this summer with a premier league.
He wants to attend A&M for college, but he’s looking at schools with LAX scholarships (nowhere I want him to go)—the good Texas schools aren’t amongst them.
It’s a fantastic sport.

There is only one answer to this question
Soccer.
It’s completely ridiculous America continues to a certain extent to ignore the world’s biggest sport. It would have the biggest following and revenue potential if done right. So stupid that we still don’t have it

Wrestling, but it'll never happen until the high schools embrace the sport again, but they won't.

Wrestling helps with OLine.
Helps teach leverage.
A lot of good to great OL wrestle in high school.

I mean not every sport has to be designed to help football. It’s ok for people to enjoy sports without relating them to football

You are absolutely right, but I really enjoy the sport. Back when the SEC was involved, I loved going out to matches on campus in Tuscaloosa. It's one of the hardest, most demanding sport there is, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to maintain a program.

Soccer
None of these would be huge spectator sports but soccer is the biggest of the listed sports and I think the SEC should have a presence there.

I don't know if UF is ever going to be able to add another men's sport, but if they did wouldn't surprise me if lacrosse is next. I wish more SEC programs would add women's lacrosse as well, we have to play in the Big East and it's terrible.

Football should be taken out of the equation regarding title 9...it’s the money maker and women don’t play it...then you could add men’s soccer and lacrosse...lacrosse is a great sport imo!
