dude makes games almost unwatchable. It is a shame that he has no self awareness and doesn't care that he is ruining the experience for many.

Nothing sadly. He ruined one of the best supers in recent memory last year. It’s fricking terrible

I agree that he knows exactly what he is doing. If he only did it occasionally, during a rally, maybe at the start of inning, when the other team is changing pitchers etc. , it would be fine. But every second of the game. I don’t see how any Vandy fan can even enjoy a home game. Period.
There was a guy named “Wild Bill” Hagy who started the famous Baltimore Orioles chant spell out from section 34 in the old Memorial Stadium when the Orioles would need to start a rally
“O” “R” “I” “O” “L” “E” “S”
This was back during the glory years of the organization (1970-1980’s). That was fun and the fans loved it.
The Whistler could change the whole perception of himself by doing his whistle only sporadically throughout the game at appropriate times.
Sad that one person or in this case I think two fans can destroy the enjoyment of thousands of other fans by being obnoxious, rude and inconsiderate.

at the tourney in hoover, i make it a point to sit as far as i can from the vandy dugout/fans because of that dude.

The easiest way to stop someone like this is simply to do the same thing he’s doing. Do it right next to him. Do it incessantly. I would guess it would stop within a season.

Had an idiot a few weeks ago come sit behind us at a Cards game yelling, "Let's go Cardinals !!" was annoying asf and wanted to deck the dude. I get that people want to do this stuff, but this moron wasn't even in that section and continued to move around to sections doing it. Ruins the game honestly. Vandy Whistler is no different, ruins the experience for everyone else.

I love college baseball. I will watch damn near any game.... except vandy.
They are just unwatchable because of them.
Hoover, Omaha, and opposing schools should ban him. Surely there is a loophole regarding fan experience you can use. Maybe use the #metoo movement. Say whistling is triggering women who have been catcalled.
