The Mason Jar is pretty good as well.

Dont eat at that Momma Goldbergs right beside JHS. I was working in Auburn about a year ago and decided to eat there and got food poisoning.

I'd add Bow and Arrow to the list as well.

Just go to Niffers in Opelika and get some of those mouth watering corn nuggets

Had no idea that was still there. I'll be in town for A-Day stuff tomorrow and will have to make a trip there!

Amsterdam isn't what it used to be.
Stick with Acre, Hound, or Depot.
Zazu in Opelika is solid, too.
All of the above (sans Acre) are overpriced, though.

Amsterdam's isn’t that good anymore. Depot is underwhelming for the price. Not a lot of favor in my experiences there

The guy that made Amsterdam good, left and started ACRE and bow & arrow. He has won awards and iron chef

Good ones have been mentioned but I’ll throw in Live Oaks for consideration

The last time I ate at Amsterdam it was a joke. The “new” owner should have renamed it so people wouldn’t think the cuisine hadn’t changed.

Best place, without a doubt, is McGroodles.
They have a delicious ribeye and some of the best mac and cheese you'll ever eat.
