Hello Everyone.
New Members:
Welcome, please be respectful, there is no tolerance for personal attacks and trolling. Other than that enjoy the Alabama Rant and Roll Tide.
This is a place to bring things to the admin attention, please include links to help us find the problem. RA is an OK tool but, this is easier.
Suggest anything you'd like and I will take a look.

Since you're not on the board much, we need another mod. Cobrasize is willing, would do a good job and has the people's support.

We don't need overly oppressive mods. This board needs to be as open as possible.

Be more active. I don't want Mods who force themselves on every single thread but I do want Mods who post more than a few times a month.

I haven't said I want moderation to be more strict. I'm talking about timeliness. When something is needed, it should be done fairly promptly, not several days later.

ok, but like what? What are some examples of things that should be done promptly that has not been done?
edit to say that, imo, there just seems to be no problems on this board since at least football season. Maybe I have missed it entirely.

All I've suggested is that Cobrasize be made a mod to help out. Cobra is willing, Boz is fine with it, and lot's of others are in favor of it. Cobra is on here a lot, so if some maintenance needs to be done he'll see to it quickly. The board won't be more strictly moderated by him. Cobra is very tolerant of asshats. So what's the harm in having him added as a mod?

By the way, I'm pretty sure that maintenance on this forum isn't the job of any moderator, but is that of administrators.

I know that. But, you insinuated that I want sticter moderation, which isn't true. So I made that clear and stated that having Cobra become a mod is the only change I've suggested and I've explained why. So now there's no need to discuss it further.

Thanks for an example. The sticky threads don't bother me very much but I don't generally click on the marathon threads as it takes a while, sometimes, to find specific content. Honestly, I don't get the need for sticky threads for most topics, in any event, because a popular and active tread will bump back to the top anyway.
