Guess it just depends on who would be willing to pay him more. Which probably doesn't bode well for Arkansas, but Arkansas does have a much richer basketball tradition than does A&M.

Time will tell I suppose.

Is that a serious question?

Looks like Bama May follow suit with Avery, because Cecil wrote an article basically saying if we don’t make the tourney he’s out.

Your tradition the last ten years is not overly impressive plus TAMU has a large recruiting base within 300 miles of campus. These kids today don't give a crap that Ark won something in the 90's. Unlike Duke and Kan. and NC they are relative most years in the national title race.

Kind of like Bama and Clemson and OU and OSU is in the football nattie..

Outside of a few Olympic type sports ARK is not relevant is much.

In other words, "outside of the most important sports in the entire world" Arkansas doesn't do well.

Nobody gives a shite about Arkansas. Their basketball program is like Nebraska football lite. Not as much historical achievement as Husker football, but similarly being left on the side of the road.

Melvin Watkins would be a natural fit. It would not cost a penny to move him and a lot of experience at A&M, Mizzou and Arky.

It would be like Anderson had never left.

I have a feeling there may be quite a few coaches looking for new homes before the NCAA gets ahold of their current program. You see it happen often and we know the NCAA will be getting involved with several programs before long. Blue blood programs as well.

Might be a good time to hop on the carousel.

Well, it's easier to recruit to A&M, but A&M is a notorious frickup type school. They don't ever do anything right and all their ideas seem half baked.

Arkansas on the other hand has shown time and again that they can compete with anyone in basketball if they have the right coach.

It'll come down to money like these things always do.

I think you are playing a little loose and fast with “time and again”. Arkansas is living in the past. Prepare to be disappointed in your coaching search.
