I have been saying it for a while, give Saban 4 weeks and he can take Ole Miss and win a NC Game. Give him less than 10 days and he becomes very average against good teams. Belichick proved again last night that he can shut down another team with two weeks to prepare. Maybe that is why Saban got out of the NFL.

You think 2 weeks isn't enough time for Nick Saban to developed and implement a scheme? Sad attempt at a troll.

You saying it for a while does not make it any less of a ridiculous thing to say.

Quick side note. Two weeks is more than 10 days.

More like give him 2-3 years worth of recruiting classes. Plus however long the horse steroids take to kick in.

Saban in the NC game: 6-2

Belichick in SB: 6-3

Both are the GOAT's in their sport

Saban didn't make it in the NFL because too many coaches copy cat plays that work against who they play.

I do NOT buy in to the "Nick Saban the best coach in CFB History" lunacy. Here are three reasons why UAT is so successful at football: 1) UAT has an unlimited football budget and spends more money than any other SEC member on gold-plated over the top gaudy football facilities, coaches salaries and recruiting 2) No university admissions office "interference" (also Bama is one of only three SEC schools, along with Ole Miss and MS State that accepts Ds on high school and/or college transcripts and 3) Most importantly Saban has no interference from the UAT administration and the reality is that Bama football is only peripherally affliated with UAT. In essence you can take the McDonald's drive-through window guy and he could win 10 games at UAT (ie Mike Dubose won a SEC championship at UAT). How many games and/or championships would Saban win at GA Tech, Washington State, Indiana, Kansas et al? He is a "great" coach because he coaches at UAT, the last college football factory left in America!

Saban's been to 8 championship games in 15 years and won 6...Belichick's been to 9 in 18 years and won 6...I'd say they're comparable...

I seem to remember Belichick losing a couple of Super Bowls as well.

Another troll who is a prisoner of the moment. Last season in the Super Bowl Belichick's defense gave up 41 points to a backup QB and lost. Things change with different personnel.

Nice try, though.

Saban is 6-2 in national championship games

Belichick is 6-3 in super bowls.

Just saying.

6-2 in NCs vs
6-3 in NCs

Not exactly a huge difference.

Saban is too much of a prick to command the respect of guys making 3 times what he makes. And he wants to be his own GM

He’s better suiting to running college team where he controls all aspects of everything
