I don't think Lacy threw anything but fastballs that inning and had 2 Ks and a pop fly. Just pure unadulterated heat.
He's the real deal. If he can learn to consistently throw strikes he's a top 10 pick.

I didn’t get to watch him today, but the way MJ has talked about it, he fully expects him to be a first rounder with his stuff. He’s racking up those Ks too.

FanGraphs has him at 18 right now for their 2020 draft rankings and I would think the stock is only going up right now

Thanks bro. The TMF site is so wonky that sometimes it works and sometimes it just shows me the goddamned site menu. But it's like 1 out of 3.

Here's the A&M home page for statsbroadcast. It's not the easiest site to navigate but once you find this it's not bad.
At the bottom you can filter by sport. Select baseball and you can get any box. In the Stats link you can select home/vis stats and see YTD as well as of that game. They also do a great job on live games.
It's not baseball reference, but it's as good as it gets for college baseball (at least for free).

I don't even know how they rank the 2019 draft at this point considering HS seniors have an entire season beforehand. 2020? GTFO. Total guesswork.

The two scouting guys on there used to work in front offices and communicate pretty regularly with scouts I think, but yeah obviously really far out and a lot could change. If he’s that high on there right now though it’s probably because they’ve talked to scouts who are also high on him and following him. I’m just glad we get a whole other year with him after this year.
The lack of power for us is pretty concerning. I didn’t expect to be scoring a ton of runs but damn. I’m fairly concerned what we will be able to do against SEC pitching.

On the good side, we can hang around in most series with Dox/Lacy. On the bad, I don't think we're going to have many easy games in SEC play since we can't hit a lick.
