That’s impressive no doubt about it

quote:It was said that once during Coach Bryant's era when Bryant-Denny stadium was being enlarged, Coach Bryant called his old friend and former pupil, Charlie McClendon (LSU head coach) to see which dates LSU was not playing at home so he might be able to move some of Alabama's home games to Baton Rouge while our stadium was being worked on....I guess they couldn't get the schedule worked out though.
So Fake Death Valley isn’t a tough place to play and doesn’t live up to its reputation and most fans by halftime? Got it.

Think about that tiger fans and stop celebrating Clemson winning.

Alabama fans consoling themselves from the absolute beat down by trolling LSU fans on their own message board...

Yep, Bear Bryant was darn near impossible to beat from from 1965 to 1981. Saban has been nearly as tough (Bryant loss three times between 1965 and 1981, Saban 3 since 2007. Team with better coach, if talent is relatively similar, tends to win. Not rocket science.

44-16.
And Bama doesn't even have a winning record against LSU in Bryant-Jenny Stadium.

And just because Alabama ignores statistics that do not favor them, since the game has been a regular Baton Rouge-Tuscaloosa affair (1988), LSU is 8-7 in Tuscaloosa.

Everyone knows the proverb the tide don't lose in baton rouge

Don't care at all about Clemson winning. But bama losing was nice.

The LSU community appreciates your patronage of Tigerdroppings.

There is something called "google" that I used to find out that Bama doesn't have a winning record against LSU in Bryant-Jenny in the first place. If I just tell either of you, it would deprive you of learning about such a useful tool. I also used that same method to find out that Bama's worst loss ever in Bryant-Jenny margin-wise is to L8U.

Saban was your coach at the time. That shite isn't happening again.

Actually, Saban wasn't our coach. It was DiNardo.
Saban was about to 27-0 the Tide too in Tuscaloosa in the 2003 title year for LSU, but Shula sent the FG unit out there late in the 4th down 24-0 just to avoid the shutout. So I understood when Bama fired him.
