At what point do Georgia fans accept the fact that Kirby is Richt 2.0

How many more years of underachieving is it going to take for UGA fans to realize this. Kirby is a great recruiter but so was Richt both guys could recruit both guys are also failures when it matters most.

If UGA doesn't have a national title within the next two seasons, I'm sure there will be major grumblings of change.

Kirby is recruiting top 3 classes. Richt was recruiting more like our brothers down on the plains. Like 7-12

Richt isn't even in the same universe with Smart when it comes to recruiting. Guz Malzahn is a pile of shite who you guys are paying 7 million dollars a year. I'll take our chances.

I disagree. I see him more of a Miles or Mack Brown type. Top notch recruiter and below average in game coach who always makes a few knucklehead decisions in big moments.
It's a different kind of underacheiving than what Richt accomplished.
At least with Brown and Miles, you've got a shot that if the stars align you can win a natty. Whereas with Richt, you have no shot.

I think this is a good comparison actually. The problem is he can't get to title games easily until bama is out of the way.

Mark was lucky because of the President at UGA during his years wasn't committed to winning Big. Jeremey Pruitt rocked that boat once he landed in Athens and he pissed off errrbody which actually was a blessing to those UGA fans/former players,and grads that wanted to win Big. Kirby is in high cotton at UGA and has talent to keep them on page one. Kirby did make a big mistake with his rant after losing to Bama and he should learn from that. He actually gave his players the greenlight to complain about those teams that actually made the final four by his rant. A little adversity will show a little more about Kirby's ability to manage the program going forward.

Kirby hasn’t really been challenged in the East. Mullen will make Florida more competitive but let’s not forget the East is still rebuilding. UGA took advantage of a down league that is improving. I don’t think UGA will go undefeated in the East again next year.

This was the year. Had Bama on the ropes. Didn’t get it done. Pressure is on for next season.
