And congrats Alabama on the annihilation of the Sooners. Alabama owned every part of that game. As soon as it hit 28-0 I knew it was done for. I’m glad OU started to play to make it somewhat respectable, but like it has been said here many times, the defense is a joke and it showed more and more as Alabama kept on pounding.
I never talked crap on Alabama. That’s not my place like other Sooner fans have done on here. But I’m here to say congrats to the Bama fans, and good luck on capturing a 4th back-to-back (64-65, 78-79, 11-12).
Now, for some fun, someone post the GIF of the Wagon not quite making it to the trophy. I always get a chuckle out of it, thinking it’ll make it.

He’s a great half of a coach. He needs to be a defensive mindset as well. Then there’s better hope in the future.

I didn’t realize how bad the SEC jealousy was until I read quite a few posts from shorthorn fans defending OUs B12 “accomplishments. Shorthorn fans dick riding and cum gobbling OU pretty much says it all.

This is definitely a huge hire for him, but he would get a pass for these first 2 seasons from me. He clearly didn't want to turn over the apple cart with Stoops in year 1 after Bob handed him the program, and he pretty decisively made the change this year. It sucks to waste 2 years with those 2 QBs, but the situation was just difficult for a young new coach under the shadow of a legend.

There was nothing to waste.
OU’s problem isn’t coaching, it’s that the SEC is signing all the really good defensive talent in Texas that would have gone to OU ten years ago. They are doing the best they can do with the talent they have.
Unless they hire a guy who can push their recruiting to be completely national and they can start to pull in five stars from other regions they have a solid glass ceiling hanging over their program thanks to A&M exposing the state of Texas to the SEC.
Hence the intense SEC envy we see here, they know it deep down.

This is what happened to Nebraska. All of these schools coming from the Midwest to steal Texas football talent are dropping like flies.
Oklahoma is the new Nebraska. Land thieves only chance is to join the SEC and that is not happening

I like your coach.. But your team's offense is predicated on a great qB like Kyler. Those don't come around often. Gus Malzahn is having a hard time winning consistently as he cant find the Cam Newton type replacement.
