Certainly an Aggie wouldn't know since aTm has never ascended in modern college football.

IDK, he could go any of a number of places. I'm not sure why he'd want to burn another year of eligibility at JUCO.

NCAA rules page says you have to sit out a year anyway, unless you are a graduate transfer

Guess Fields heard about the fact that Hurts has silently committed to transferring to UGA in the spring. Can't say I blame Fields, really.

He isn’t going anywhere. Why would we be blue shirting our new 3rd stringer if Justin was leaving?

Right, but he has a redshirt year to prep for a starting job.

He would have to actually play and burn a year of eligibility at a JUCO>

Looks like all those lies Kirby told him, blew up in Kirby's face.

and how do you know how many lies Kirby told Justin Fields, because I don't think he told anyone lies when he was at Alabama and I don't think he told anyone lies while at Georgia. A coach who lies during recruitment will not be successful very long

Apparently you aren't familiar with names like "Urban" and "Petrino."

He knows he won’t win a championship at UGA. He also could make an instant impact on special teams.

Guy is a fricking slimeball with all the lies and negative recruiting...
Who cares?

He needs as much talent as humanly possible to start pulling even with Alabama.

He's doing his thing and isn't apologizing for it. So what?

I mean let’s be honest here, this is a pretty huge blow to UGA and a bad look going forward to recruits. There’s really no other way to look at it

Yes there is "another way to look at it". Fields was never going to beat out Fromm. He didn't want to sit for 2 years.

Y'all probably thought it was sour grapes from most of us at the time.

But good lord I can't believe Fields signed at UGA with ANY expectations of playing right away.

And why didn't he redshirt this year?

I don't get it.

They are starting to grant more waivers and it's been rumored he'll apply for one because of racial incident that occurred earlier in the season.

He has ZERO chance of getting a waiver based on that and the NCAA wouldn't grant him one because it would be such a slippery slope. Also UGA kicked the UGA baseball player off of the team and school. Hell his sister just signed with UGA four days ago.

The only reason the racism issue is even being brought up by Field's attorney is to pressure UGA into a unconditional release to avoid a PR battle. There is absolutely no way he plays next year (unless he stays at UGA).

Wouldn't say zero...probably closer to around 20%.NCAA is pretty gun-shy these days when it comes to denying eligibility for transfers.

No one knows anything for sure and it's ALL pure speculation at this point.
