Just curious. Why does Herbie do the show from his house in Nashville?

It's pretty well known he moved to Nashville a few years ago to get away from OSU crazies. They started harassing him.

It was very public when he moved to Nashville from Columbus to get away from the OSU stalkers threatening him because he wasn't enough of a homer.
ETA - Not to mention that Nashville is a much more desirable place to live than Columbus.

He still has a kid in HS right? Probably squeezing in some family time since it’s the middle of the week and he works weekends. I’m sure ESPN is happy to accommodate

If you live in Nashville, Knoxville, or Atlanta then you can do a show from your home pretty easily. All three have tons of television and film professionals. Professional stringers are everywhere and you can set up easily without having to have a studio because of all of the professionals and equipment are already around and easily secured.
It's the same way in other cities that produce a lot of tv/film content.

Good post. I always wondered if people like him had a dedicated room in their house to film segments like this. Or if they traveled to some other local location like a TV station to do it. And Nashville sounds much more desirable than Columbus anyway. Does he still have a radio show in Columbus?

They have a dedicated room. I remember when Chris Mortensen moved to Bella Vista, AR, when his son became a third string QB at Arkansas. Visited him through mutual friends on a few occasions, and he'd show his little studio room.
