No kidding. We get in that title picture once in a perennial. Just like I said boy! Boom!

With the talent that is in the state and that we can recruit here we should be in the national championship picture every year, but we are not.

quote:So do I, but the notion that LSU fans knew what was coming when NS came to Bama is bullshite. The large majority of that fan base swore up and down NS would never reach the heights at Bama that he did at LSU. And they stood by their beliefs until the "Saban to Texas" shite died on the vine.
Hell, I can respect his post for the most part. He said what most people know and too few LSU fans will admit. They are jealous of Saban and Bama

I think that for a lot of them that was a front. I lurked the tRant back then and I remember lots of discussion about how it was only a matter of time before Saban turned Bama around.

What else were they gonna do?

I mean, I think we can all agree that we are still running an outdated offense, and we can field a much more up to date and high-powered offense than what we have had for the last decade. Especially with the way we recruit. We just want a successful offense to pair with our great defenses every year. Is that too much to ask?

Jealous? Hell boy, we are LSU and theyre not. Bad day as a Tiger is better than a good day as a gump.
And the midget got scared and ran off to the nfl. He fell flat on his ugly face too. Granted it wasva short fsll for him! Boom!
I assure you I wouldn’t swap places with you last Saturday......it’s good to be king, but you will never know how it feels.

LSU sits at #7 in the country with 2 losses and it's very likely you win out and finish 11-2 for the season and your board has folks wanting to shite can Ensminger and are bashing CEO in some threads. Y'all can't even get your fan base to see and appreciated what you have at this very moment because BAMA/Saban clouds your vision.
This is a result of 10 years of putrid offense, promise after promise of changing the offense, yet same results. LSU currently ranks 104th in total offense and at the bottom of damn near every offensive category. Defense is there as always, special team just no offense. That's the frustration and wanting to shite can SE. I appreciate and most fans do, but to compete for championships the offense needs to change. The hire of ED and SE as OC is not showing a commitment to Winning. If LSU demotes SE and gets a proven OC I'll see that commitment.
Imagine the frustration bama fans would have if you took the kicking game for bama and switched with offense. Tons of NFL talent just wasted. It's beyond frustrating.

I’m obsessed with Alabama but mostly because I’ve been rooting for them almost as long as LSU.

I may have said something at one time as stupid as him never having the same success at Bama as he did at LSU. Honestly looking back at it I wish he only the same success because he would not be racking up the titles like he has, it is truely incredible to watch even though he is at Bama.

Hopefully, Ed O finishes 11-2 in his second year. Would be a great recruiting tool going forward and sets up another run for a possible 12-1 season with a possible selection to the CFP.

LSU was never going to be a perennial national title contender, not even with Saban. I see all the time, oh, he'd be doing this at LSU.
No he wouldn't.
The football programs have been on different levels since they began playing football.
And the whole, he won't win at Bama narrative was then trying to convince themselves of that. They knew what was coming, oh yes, they knew. It's why they went shitefit crazy the day Bama signed him. They are still insane about that. They then hung onto the Texas longhorns hope for about 8 years until it became obvious to them that not only was Texas not a better job, hell, it wasn't as GOOD as Bama. Not in football.
