Greg Sankey (SEC Commissioner) and Mark Womack (SEC CFO) both agreed that it would be in the best interest of fairness to have the Devin White suspension be reviewed by the NCAA'S National Office.

Note: By the rule stated in the NCAA Rules Booklet, it is unlikely the Devin White suspension will be overturned.

I hope he gets to play the first half. LSU is losing either way. I just don't want to hear about it for a few years.

The review on the Devin White suspension for Targeting is complete. The suspension will be enforced. The SEC Office in Birmingham, AL has notified Joe Alleva (LSU AD) and Ed Orgeron (LSU HC) the findings of the National Office.

The SEC Office also sent a video to Coach Ed Orgeron, this video shows how to avoid getting flagged for Targeting on a defenseless player. We at the SEC Office suggest that he displays this for his players to prevent future unfortunate rulings. The link to that video is below.

They aren't reviewing the targeting. They are reviewing the fact that Devin hit a trainer in the tunnel with his helmet, and whether he will be serving a longer suspension.

Hope this helps clarify the situation.
