Has a grad transfer QB ever worked out?

I looked, briefly of course, and can’t really find an example of one having much success.
Combination of things...
1. They are transferring for a reason.
2. Behind the curve a bit with trying to learn a new offense in one offseason.
I see a lot of people foaming at the mouth over Bryant/Hurts but they’d be the exception if they came in and were a difference maker for their new teams.

Trevor knight won 8 games for A&M. We were in a pickle after Kyle Allen and kyler Murray left.

Forgot about him. He was only ok if memory serves correct though right?

Why did those 2 guys leave? One was the starting qb wasn't he?

Wasn't Coker a grad transfer? Or was he just a regular transfer?
Regardless, it worked out great.

I think Grayson lambert went 10-2 for UGA one season (before losing his job to a true freshman the next season).

Sumlin royally fricked up the QB room. They both started several games that year before.

Masoli was the sole reason we won 4 games in 2010

Towles did wonders for Boston College, he even dedicated his final season to Harambe

We had 3 guys transfer during the Muschamp years who are in the NFL now.
Malik Zaire kept our shutout streak alive against Georgia's third stringers last year.

Jake Coker won a Natty as the starting QB at Bama.

I can’t think of one other than Burrow, but I don’t think he’s a grad. It takes time to adjust as a QB. They usually need more than a year to really be affective.
ETA: And I can’t think of one because of I really can’t remember. I’m sure someone has been able to do it.

Driskel was badass in his one year for La Tech
On the high-major level, Coker. Was Wilson a grad transfer?
