Tua 2018 - 646 passing yards 8 TDs
Hill 2014- 1094 passing yards 11 TDs

Both played similar schedules to that point. Crazy how things can turn. Should be a great matchup this weekend

Based on those numbers, Kenny Hill.

Kenny Hill threw 10 more passes in his first game (vs South Carolina) than Tua has thrown all year so far.

So, there's that.

Good try, though.

Kenny Hill’s team also allowed 28, 3, and 10 points compared to 10, 7 and 7.

Have you factored in that Tua is also averaging about 1.5 quarters per game?

I'd hope his stats were higher. Hill had more attempts in his first game than Tua has had through 3 games combined

Are you going to count Kenny's performance in the National Championship the previous year too?

Look. It's obvious to everyone that Tua is no Trill Hill. But luckily he's no Joe Burrow either.

Their QBR for those first three games:

Game 1 Trill: 161.4
Game 1 Tua: 235.4

Game 2 Trill: 207.6
Game 2 Tua: 238.7

Game 3 Trill: 188.4
Game 3 Tua: 224.3

Easy. Trill > Tua.

Trill was too talented to take off the field, which accounts for his 131 plays to Tua's 64 plays through 3 games (where the QB either ran it or threw it). Hell, that FCS game where he threw 4 TDs and got his only qbr rating above 200 was a thing of beauty.

Tua has to continue to work to separate from Hurts and Mac Jones. Hopefully he'll get there and earn a few more snaps. But, clearly not 3 game Trill level.
