Won handily, but sloppily. Expected a bit of a letdown after Clemson/looking ahead to Bama (hey, they're human), but there's some shoring up to do.

Very concerned about our secondary and their propensity to give up chunk plays. I'm sick of yelling at Oliver to get his damn head turned around

Fisher and Elko have their work cut out for them.

Agreed. The challenge next week has me concerned for sure.

I will say it seemed like the defense got their shite together for the second half. Anyone know how many total yards the d gave up in the second half?

Also would like to take the opportunity and give props to the freshman kicker Seth Small for coming in and taking care of business. He went 2/2 with a long of 40, And 6/6 on extra points. I didn’t even know lacamera was hurt.

Concerned? Child please! That's a 21 point loss at the very least.

I know it was the definition of a trap game, coming off a close loss to the #2 team and having the #1 team next week, but yeah that was sloppy.

Our secondary is just too slow, I hope Fisher and staff are recruiting to fix that. We need the D-line to start getting more pressure because good teams with a good QB are going to carve us up with this slow secondary.

This. That was damn impressive. I had no idea LaCamera was injured until the 4th quarter.

Next weekend is the equivalent of heading to the casino with $500 you found on the sidewalk. Nobody expects us to do anything less than get blown out, and if we do get blown out so what? Bama will blow evetyoneexcept maybe LSU and Barn our this year.

Yup, we have zero to lose (barring a 59-0 type debacle), and every to gain from just playing tough.

You’re right, but I do want to point out that we left 3 TD plays go to waste due to penalties. It points to cleaning play up, but the offense is doing what they need to which is putting the ball into the end zone.

Tackling still looks bad on the run. My God, get those boys some sticky gloves or something.

2019 class includes:

5-star S Brian Williams
4-star S Demani Richardson
4-star CB Erick Young
4-star CB Jeffery Carter
4-star CB Bobby Wolfe

Also in good shape for 2020 studs Dwight McGlothern and Chris Thompson.

Safe to say the secondary is going to improve dramatically over the next couple of years

Seriously. We're not ISU #12 bad anymore, but the inconsistency of the tackling is aggravating
